Kelsey Lopez is a Cost and Pricing Finance Associate in WRI's Operations department. In this role she provides oversight on proposal development, financial reporting, and funder communications. Kelsey also supports institutional revenue tracking, special projects, and is responsible for developing internal trainings and resources on a range of financial management and operational processes.

Previously, Kelsey has held a number of other positions at WRI, including a Grants & Finance Specialist for the Global Commission on Adaptation within WRI's Governance Center of Excellence, a Project Coordinator for the International Climate Action Initiative in WRI’s Global Climate Program, and a Project Coordinator for the Urban Development team in the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. In these roles she provided project financial management, grants and contracts management, event coordination, and administrative support.

Before joining WRI, Kelsey was the Operations Manager for the Transit Oriented Development Institute, a non-profit advocacy organization that convened business and political leaders with civil society to advance a sustainable urban agenda in the U.S.

Kelsey holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University, with a concentration in International Development and minors in Geography and Sustainability.

In her spare time, Kelsey loves to try new food, travel as much as possible, and tend to her ever-growing collection of indoor plants.
